DescriptionTracks 1 - 11: Actuality with a mixed-race man from the East End (Taploe Johnson), his white partner (Lesley Eastel) and a Gujarati man (Muksoot Shaikh) from the East End, and Charles Parker. The group speak about racial prejudice, with reference to Eastel's father and how he does not want her to have a relationship with a non-white person. They also speak about prejudice and tensions between Asian, black and mixed-race people in the area. The discussion continues with reference to differences between the attitudes of different generations, and the growth of the racist politics in the East End. Shaikh talks about how non-Indian people in his area have stereotyped Indian people as dirty and smelly.

Tracks 12 - 14: Actuality with young men (teenagers), Trevor Phillps, George McArdle and Alan Rasleman from Cable Street, East End, London and Charles Parker. There are other people present in the room who are not introduced. The young men are black British and white Irish. They talk about their primary and secondary schools, with reference to the teaching quality at the schools.
