Tracks 4 - 5 are recordings by Charles Parker of a union meeting in Wellington, Shropshire. NUPE members are interviewed and Peter Partridge of NALGO also contributes. The proposed closure of Flora Dugdale care home is referred to.
Tracks 6 - 11 cover a BBC radio broadcast of 'Parents and Children' presented by Bernard Jackson. Subjects considered include family planning, childbirth (with comments from a representative of the National Childbirth Trust), home birth and child care responsibilities of parents.
Tracks 12 - 15 record a BBC television broadcast of part of an episode of 'Doctor Finley's Casebook'.
