| AdminHistory | Charles Parker worked on a freelance basis with BBC Radio Nottingham on a series of programme about youth employment in the City. This included interviews with teenagers and young people coping with unemployment, many of whom were involved with the NOWT project [Nottingham Out of Work]. The experiences of older people of previous periods of unemployment and under employment were also recorded, with an emphasis on the interwar depression [1920s & 1930s]. Former mine workers and lacemakers were recorded. |
