| Description | Recordings made at a seminar on documentary theatre organised by the International Student Theatre Union in Rotterdam. The Union was founded in 1962 to co-ordinate festivals and organise seminars. Charles Parker was invited to the 1970 seminar in Rotterdam as a guest speaker. The recordings largely consist of discussions between members of theatre groups from different European countries about theatre production, but also include recordings of performances. Charles Parker and Clive Barker feature as interviewers on some tapes. The recordings appear to have been made for a radio arts programme that Charles Parker appeared on which featured his report from the festival (see MS 4000/6/2/5/11A) |
