| Description | This letter was sent by Elizabeth Taylor to her father whilst she was visiting her uncle Thomas (Tom) Cash with her elder sister Margaret (Pearlie) in September 1866. The letter describes difficulties which the two girls had experienced travelling by train. Elizabeth also comments that she and Margaret had watched the waves on the beach with their uncle. She concludes her letter noting that the girls had been unable to attend Quaker Meeting for Worship owing to the wet weather.
