DescriptionElizabeth thanks her parents for the letters, papers, money, books and cards which they had sent to her in Germany. She remarks on her financial situation, writing that she would have to be 'very economical'. Elizabeth also refers to having photographs taken whilst at school. One page of the letter features a note from a girl called Edith Graham, one of Elizabeth's friends from school at Saxe-Meiningen.

Please note that this letter features crossed writing and is difficult to read in places.
