DescriptionIn 1864 Elizabeth Taylor was given a Pomeranian-Esquimaux puppy called Oliver Twist, the son of her aunt Caroline Cash's dog Hero, who she referred to as Twist. Twist died aged eleven between August and September 1875. This section contains a memorial produced by Elizabeth in honour of Twist, a lock of his hair and a letter from Elizabeth's younger sister Annie Frances.

Please note that these documents provide different dates for when Twist died, ranging from 10th August 1875 to 10th September 1875.
