| Description | In this letter to her uncle Tom Cash, Elizabeth Taylor describes her trip to Darlington visiting her uncle Joseph Taylor and his family with her elder sister Margaret. She writes about the scenery and churches which they had seen. Elizabeth also writes about a recent trip to Whitby where the family had visited the ruins of an Abbey, eaten lunch together and been taken round a manufactory before returning home noisily in a carriage. |
