LevelItem
Date26 January 1926
DescriptionWriting from Bournville, Miss Cotes's letter suggests that she was associated with Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury through philanthropic work. Her letter refers to many mutual acquaintances which she shared with Taylor Cadbury, such as a lady called Ethel who was suffering from ill-health. Cotes also remarks on the arrival and departure of staff, suggesting that she may have been involved in medical or educational work in Bournville, alongside her work with her Mother's Study Circle which she mentions in the letter. With reference to Taylor Cadbury's address, Miss Cotes remarks 'only this morning a woman said to me what a fresh & beautiful point of view you had given us.'

Please note that Miss Cotes's first name is given in her signature on this letter, however it is difficult to read and has therefore been omitted here to avoid confusion.
