DescriptionThis section contains the typescripts of broadcasts delivered by and written about Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury as well as related correspondence. In January 1926 Taylor Cadbury was invited to deliver a religious address for the BBC's Sunday Evening Service. Taylor Cadbury's was the first Sunday address to be delivered from the new BBC studios in Birmingham. The section contains the typescript of Taylor Cadbury's address and a large number of letters which she received in response to her broadcast. The section also includes three copies of an appeal delivered by Taylor Cadbury for the Midland Home Service on behalf of the Birmingham United Hospitals and copies of broadcasts about Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury delivered by her daughter-in-law Mrs. Joyce Cadbury for the Midland Home Service and for BBC Radio 4's 'Woman's Hour' in 1958.
