AdminHistoryGeoffrey Hoyland was the son of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's younger sister Josephine and her husband John William Hoyland, the warden of Kingsmead, a Quaker training college founded in Selly Oak by the Cadbury family in 1905. Geoffrey Hoyland became Headmaster of The Downs, a preparatory school for boys in Colwall, Malvern. In 1919 he married Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's daughter Dolly (Elsie Dorothea, born 1892).
