DateJune 1931
DescriptionThis letter relates to printed copies of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's paper 'George Cadbury' which she delivered in September 1929 at celebrations to mark the jubilee anniversary of the removal of the Cadbury factory to Bournville in 1879. In this letter Taylor Cadbury remarks that several members of the Cadbury family had asked her for copies of the paper which had led to her having this printed version produced.

Taylor Cadbury writes that she had decided to distribute the remaining copies of her paper in June 1931 as a contribution to celebrations commemorating the 'Centenary of the founding of the Works'. This anniversary marked one hundred years since George Cadbury's father John Cadbury (1801-1889) had begun manufacturing cocoa products in Birmingham.
