DescriptionThis small leatherette covered volume is a Walker's diary for the year 1903. The diary includes daily entries written by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury in ink. A number of individual entries have been underlined in red or pencil. Pages throughout the diary have been marked with pieces of folded writing paper or torn pieces of newspaper. These entries appear to relate to the establishment of Woodbrooke by the Cadburys and the summer school held to open the college in July 1903. Subsequent pages at the back of the diary intended for the inclusion of memoranda or financial details have been left blank.
