| Description | This small leatherette covered volume is a Walker's diary for the year 1908. The front pages of the diary feature a calendar which has been annotated with ink lines in some places. The diary includes daily entries written by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury in ink. These entries vary in length and detail. Each page features a box entitled 'memo' which has been used by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury to continue details relating to daily events or left blank. Pages dated 12th March 1908-14th March 1908 have been left blank with regular entries resuming on 15th March 1908. Occasional other dates throughout the diary have also been left blank. A short list written in pencil entitled 'Notes for 1909', part of which is crossed through has been included by Taylor Cadbury on the final page of the diary. A printed colour advertisement for 'The Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation Limited' is attached to the last page of the volume. |
