DescriptionThis small leatherette covered volume is a Walker's diary for the year 1910. The front pages of the diary feature a calendar which has been annotated with ink lines in some places. The diary includes daily entries written by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury in ink. These entries vary in length and detail. Each page features a box entitled 'memo' which has been used by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury to continue details relating to daily events or left blank. A letter written in pencil to Taylor Cadbury by her husband George Cadbury is enclosed loose within the diary. Pages at the back of the diary entitled 'Memoranda' feature a poem written in ink by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury entitled 'Ursula's Nocturne' dated 28th February. The poem may have been written for Taylor Cadbury's youngest daughter Elizabeth Ursula Cadbury who was aged five in 1911. A few very brief notes are also featured on the last page of the diary.
