DescriptionThis letter begins with many remarks about the Taylor family, Taylor Cadbury referring to her sister Frances's (Annie Frances) experiences in Duban, photographs she had received from her sister Josephine in India and her intention to send out reading material relating to the Society of Friends. Taylor Cadbury notes that her husband George Cadbury was sending all of her family in South Africa 'some Cocoa and Chocolate.'

It appears that this letter may have written for Taylor Cadbury's elder sister Margaret who was living in Stockholm in Sweden where she married Patrick Graham. Taylor Cadbury remarks on the weather in Birmingham and Sweden.

Taylor Cadbury refers to visits by several people and her responsibilities presiding over a meeting of the Parents' National Education Union where Mrs. Howard Glover, and acquaintance of Taylor Cadbury's younger sister Josephine Taylor, had delivered a lecture about teaching art and music to children. Later in the letter Taylor Cadbury refers to attending meetings at Woodbrooke, including a meeting of the Trustees. She writes that she had been with Sophia Fry to a lecture at Woodbrooke given by the Director of Studies, Rendel Harris which she had found 'amusing and instructive.'

Taylor Cadbury writes that she was receiving singing lessons from Miss Vicars who came to the Manor House to teach her stepdaughter Isabel to play the piano. She notes 'I thought I would practise up a little for winter festivities.'

Taylor Cadbury writes that she had been to another Education Committee at Worcester the previous Friday in the Cadbury family's motor car. However, the car had broken down at Rubery and Taylor Cadbury had been forced to walk home 'between three & four miles, in the snow'. Soon after returning home an hour and a half late, Taylor Cadbury was visited by a German lady called Miss Mey who had called about the Bournville Village Schools. Taylor Cadbury notes that Miss Mey had 'studied all the German kindergarten methods' and was coming to work at the schools.

Taylor Cadbury concludes her letter with remarks on family health.
