| Description | This letter is addressed to Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's sister Frances (Annie Frances) and her brother Wilfrid who were both living in South Africa. Taylor Cadbury notes that she had been at Bournville and was expecting visitors for a tennis party shortly. She writes that the Cadbury family were going to Wynds Point, their home in Malvern, on the following Monday for a holiday.
This letter repeats the news reported in her letter dated 25th August 1904. Taylor Cadbury refers again to the Flower Show at Bournville and the eight hundred and fifty people who had visited the Manor House the same weekend. She notes that she had been to the dentist the previous Monday in the last of a series of visits.
Taylor Cadbury refers to her sister Frances having suffered from blood poisoning in Johannesburg whilst travelling round South Africa and also to her brother Wilfrid's studies for his forthcoming examinations. |
