| Level | Item |
| Date | 05 July 1883 |
| Description | This letter was sent to Elizabeth Taylor by one of her cousins in the Reed family, Harry, William or Frank. Based on the signature at the end of this letter, it is possible that the letter was written by William Reed. In this letter Reed invites Elizabeth to visit Selborne Terrace in Bradford where he was undertaking teaching work. Reed also remarks on the wedding of Elizabeth Taylor's cousin Mabel Goodall Cash who was marrying John Henry Barlow on 5th July 1883. Barlow later became the Secretary of the Bournville Village Trust. A section of the letter in which Reed describes his housekeeper is highlighted. |
