DescriptionLily Davey sent this letter to Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury whilst she was visiting Heidelberg in Germany. She provides an account of her activities including a visit to Heidelberg Castle. Davey writes that she had attended a religious service which featured a sermon by 'a dried-up old clergyman, who gabbled'. She adds that she disliked travelling without female company.
