She notes that her son Egbert had been enjoying swimming in the sea and comments on an eventful bicycle ride. Taylor Cadbury writes that the family had visited a cemetery where her aunt Ann Cash was buried before taking a long drive during which they had visited a horse breeding establishment. She concludes her letter remarking on an evening spent in Biarritz when she had taken a moonlight walk with George Cadbury and gone to the Casino to listen to some music.
