| Description | This section contains letters sent to relatives and close friends of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury remarking on her illness and death. Many of the letters were sent by people who were associated with Taylor Cadbury through her public philanthropic work, paying tribute to her character and achievements.
These letters were sent to Taylor Cadbury's eldest son Laurence John Cadbury (1889-1982) and to her daughter Elsie Dorothea, Dollie, (born 1892) who married Geoffrey Hoyland in 1919. Taylor Cadbury's niece and close companion Elsa Fox who lived with Taylor Cadbury at the Manor House and Taylor Cadbury's private secretary Phyllis Cook also received a number of letters. |
