| Title | Letter from Elizabeth Taylor to Mary Jane Taylor |
| Level | Item |
| Date | 24 April 1885 |
| Description | In this letter Elizabeth Taylor comments on a 'tremendous storm' and writes about family acquaintances in Paris. She remarks that almost three hundred people had visited the dispensary the previous Monday which had caused an argument at the mission concerning the number of people who could be seen by the doctor and served by the dispensary. Elizabeth writes that new regulations limiting the number of people to be treated had improved the situation.
Elizabeth concludes her letter with comments about her family and her personal political views. She adds that she was concerned about having to share her room at the mission once new volunteers arrived. |
