DescriptionIn this letter Elizabeth Taylor remarks that a trip to Versailles had been postponed owing to the bad weather. She describes the new volunteers who had arrived to work at the mission and asks after her family, thanking her brother Wilfrid for his much anticipated letter.

Elizabeth refers to matters back in England, such as her membership of the tennis club and the bedstead in her room at home. She notes that she had been shopping in Paris and remarks on her attendance at meetings for Quaker worship. Elizabeth also comments about news reports she had heard concerning international relations between England and Russia.
