DescriptionElizabeth Taylor's uncle Thomas Cash, the brother of Elizabeth's mother Mary Jane Taylor, and his wife, Rose Alice Cash wrote to Elizabeth sending their 'real love', congratulating her on attaining her twenty-first birthday and expressing their appreciation of her work 'to promote the temporal and eternal interests of those who come under her influence'.

The letter is written on blue paper decoratively headed with details relating to the 'United Kingdon Temperance & General Provident Institution for Mutual Life Assurance', established in 1840.
