AdminHistoryElizabeth Taylor Cadbury was born on 24th June 1858 and died aged ninety three on 4th December 1951. Throughout her long life devoted to public philanthropic work, Taylor Cadbury made many close friends, particularly amongst people with whom she was associated through her work supporting education and welfare in Birmingham and through her involvement with the Society of Friends. During her lifetime she earned a local, national and international reputation for her public work supporting social service and frequently received letters and gifts from a wide range of relatives friends, colleagues and public figures commemorating her notable birthdays, particularly as she reached the age of ninety in 1948.
