DescriptionIn this letter Mr. J. Jones provides 'a few particulars' about the history of the Friends Meeting in Bournville. He remarks on the opening of the Stirchley Institute and the number of people who attended Quaker Meeting in the new building. Jones also refers to the establishment of the Temperance Society Band of Hope and the Children's Sunday School. Jones concludes his letters with reminiscences of George Cadbury's advice to him about delivering an address during the religious services held at the Cadbury Works in Bournville.
