| Description | William and Emmeline Cadbury had 6 children: Hannah b. 1903 (known as Joy because of difficulties surrounding the birth), John b. 1905, Alan b. 1907, Constance b. 1910, Richard b. 1911 and Brandon b. 1915. William was often travelling away from home on business and the children were often away at school so the family frequently wrote to each other. Many of the letters contain delightful description of the life of a child at the time.
