| Description | Mounted black and white group photograph showing George Cadbury and his second wife Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury with a large group of employees who had worked for Cadbury in their factory established in Bridge Street, Birmingham. The photograph was taken at a garden party held by George and Elizabeth Cadbury at the Manor House, Northfield in September 1909 to celebrate thirty years since Cadbury's move from Bridge Street to Bournville. George and Elizabeth Cadbury can be seen sitting in the centre of the photograph. A number of George Cadbury's children can also be seen in the photograph, including his youngest daughter Ursula (Elizabeth Ursula Cadbury), aged three, who is seated on Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's knee. George's second eldest son George Cadbury Junior can be seen sitting to the left of his father holding his eldest son, George Cadbury's first grandson, George Woodall Cadbury, aged two. |
