DescriptionThis album contains a series of black and white photographs mounted on thick black card taken during the Royal Visit to Bournville by King George V (1865-1936) and Queen Mary (1867-1953). The photographs also feature George Cadbury (1839-1922), Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury (1858-1951) and crowds of Bournville residents, employees and other people who were invited to participate in or watch proceedings during the King's visit to Bournville.

The following list provides a brief description of each of the photographs in the order in which they have been compiled in the album:

Photograph showing King George V and Queen Mary speaking to George and Elizabeth Cadbury. A number of people in military uniform and ceremonial dress can be seen standing around the group.

Photograph showing George Cadbury, Queen Mary, King George V and Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury standing around a lectern. King George can be seen writing on a document, possibly signing the Bournville Visitor's Book (1901-1951).

Photograph showing King George V, Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury and others taken during a parade held in Bournville which was led by the royal party. The gentleman standing to the right of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury is John Henry Barlow. Barlow was the husband of Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's cousin Mabel Goodall Cash and served as Secretary of the Bournville Village Trust during the early twentieth century. Queen Mary's parasol can be seen behind King George V. The Queen is followed by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's husband George Cadbury. Large groups of children can be seen lining the road, some of which appear to be dressed in the uniform of the Boy Scouts.
